Vehicle Fire, Fraud and Burglaries Investigated by Walton Sheriff's Office

Walton County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following incidents incidents on April 22, 2013.

Zone 1

• Fire Assist – A vehicle caught fire on H D Atha Rd. Damages were made to the property.
• Extra Patrol – Extra patrol was requested on Riverbend Rd. in reference to someone tampering with a vehicle.

Zone 3

• Fraud – A debit card was stolen and was reportedly used at Cowpens

Zone 4

• Extra Patrol – Vehicles were reportedly laying drags on John Stowe Rd. Extra Patrol requested.

Zone 5

• Damage – A mailbox was struck on Piney Grove Rd.
• Extra Patrol – A request for Extra Patrol was made on Greenridge Court in reference to suspicious vehicles in the area.
• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Ivey Brook Drive in the Estates at Ivey Brook. All windows and doors appeared secure.
• Burglary – A residence was entered on Eagles Nest Court. Prescription medications were taken from a safe along with jewelry, clothing and other miscellaneous items. A suspect has been named in the theft.

Zone 6

• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Sandy Creek Circle in Sandy Creek Estates. All windows and doors appeared secure.

Zone 7

• Damage – A vacant residence was burglarized on Summit Lane in Woodlake subdivision. Extra patrol requested.
