Monroe: 'Proud to be YOUR City'

The streets of Monroe were abuzz with Super Summer kids' activities Thursday as the city and businesses provided fun activities for the children. The annual event helps get the community ready for a "super summer" in Monroe.

There was food, fun, music and plenty of games and fun things for the children to do. This annual event is held in conjunction with City Government Week and Georgia Cities Week. This year's theme was “We are proud to be your city!” The theme for this year’s City Government week is Cities: Where the Action Is.
