Viewfinder: First Friday Night Concert in Monroe With The Tams
The Tams, big and small, gave Monroe's First Friday Night Concerts a strong start. The guests from VH1's "T.I. and Tiny, The Family Hustle" helped bring in the crowds. Were you there?
The few drops of rain didn't dampen anyone's spirit in downtown Monroe Friday for the first of the 2013 First Friday Summer Concerts Series.
"A few clouds has never stopped people from coming out and enjoying good music," local photographer Darrell, of PmR Promotions, wrote in a Facebook post
"Are you kidding me this is what I love about the summer in Monroe!' Jan Wazasoki, who drove in from Winder Ga., told him. With chairs and tables already set up for the musical event he said it appeared as if the weather was the last thing on anyone's mind.
