Volunteers Needed for Pocket Park Work Day Aug. 24
The work is scheduled to take place between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. in downtown Monroe
Much progress has been made at the site of Pocket Park but more work is needed in order to meet the expected completion date of Sept. 1, 2013.
The next work day is Saturday, Aug. 24, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and volunteers are needed for grading, cleaning, building, painting and sealing projects.

Pocket Park is nestled between two building off Broad Street between Court and East Washington streets in downtown Monroe.
