Walton County Middle School Race Car Driver Needs the Community's Help

What 14-year-old Jessica Still needs is for the community to vote for her race car as the Best Looking Mini Stock.

Jessica Still, 14, of Monroe, has been racing mini stock cars for almost a year. According to her mother, Heddy Still, the Carver Middle School student began racing go-karts about five years ago, graduating to mini stock cars last summer. Jessica now races in the Young Guns class at Hartwell Speedway.

"Racing is her dream. She is known as "That Girl" at the race track," Heddy Still said, adding that she even has a sponsor this year -Β Β Athens Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram. What they need from the community right now, is helping earn this gutsy eighth-grader the name of Best Looking Mini Stock on Facebook.

"We need our community's help with this contest," Heddy Still said, noting that Jessica is currently running in second place. "If you could PLEASE click on the link/picture and LIKE Jessica Jessica's photo...if you just like the status it won't count as a vote. We need our community to come together and help us out. We need to help this little Georgia Peach win this contest."

The contest ends March 31st and, at last count, Jessica had enough votes to earn her second place. But she's looking to go to the front of the pack. Heddy Still asks that the local community share the link with your friends and bring the title home to Walton County.

"If you Click on the picture it will take you straight to where you can like her car," she said. Please remember to like the car, not the status, in order for the vote to count.
