Walton County Special Olympics Scheduled for March 23
The community is invited to turn out and support these very special athletes.
Mark your calendars! The community is invited to support its special athletes in the much anticipated Walton County Special Olympic games. These will take place on March 23, 2013 at Monroe Area High School. The festivities kick off at 10 a.m. with the parade of athletes through town. Line up is at the First Methodist Church of Monroe.
Opening Ceremonies for the games follow at Monroe Area High School field. The Olympic Town will be open for all to enjoy and organizers are asking the community to plan a day out supporting these athletes.
Monroe Area High School is located at 300 Double Springs Church Road in Monroe.
