WCSO Respond to Theft, Burglary, DUI, Fire and Several False Alarms in Recent Calls

Walton County Sheriff's Office responded to the following incidents during the period March 22 - 25, 2013.

Zone 1

• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Kraddle Court in Kraddle Kreek subdivision. Windows and doors appeared secure.
• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm Lake Walton Blvd. in Lake Walton Estates. Windows and doors appeared secure.
• Identity Theft – Identity was possibly stolen from a victim on Alcovy Station Rd.
• Suspicious Vehicle – A yellow GMC truck was stopped and warned for soliciting in the area of County Line Rd.

Zone 3

• Vandalism – A mailbox was spray painted on Old Monroe Madison Hwy. Extra Patrol requested.
• Burglary – A residence on Queens Cemetery Rd. was burglarized. Extra Patrol was requested. Suspects are named.
• Theft – A 20” lime green Rocket bicycle was stolen from a front porch on Blasingame Rd. A black male was seen riding a bicycle toward Old Monroe Madison Hwy.
• Found Property – A purple Avigo bicycle was found in a front yard on Blasingame Rd.
• Suspicious Person – An adult male was seen riding a child’s bicycle on Crystal Brook Way. The bike had not been reported stolen.
• Keys locked in Vehicle – A vehicle was unlocked on Windfield Drive in Windfield subdivision in reference to keys being locked in the vehicle.
• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Clearwater Way in Clearwater Estates. Windows and doors appeared secure.

 Zone 4

• Structure Fire – A fire occurred on Old Baccus Rd.; the property was destroyed. A space heater was the possible cause.

Zone 5

• Theft – A camera was stolen from a residence on Etchison Rd.
• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Rambling Woods Drive in Rambling Woods subdivision. Windows and doors appeared secure.
• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Providence Lane in Providence Club subdivision. Windows and doors appeared secure.
• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Powell Court in Hickory Grove Estates. Windows and doors appeared secure.
• Vehicle Accident – A single vehicle accident occurred on Hwy 81 @ Springdale Drive. The driver was arrested for DUI, failure to maintain lane and for going too fast for conditions.
• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Nathan Blvd. at APS Granite. An open rear door was damaged. Unknown if damages were recent or old.
• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Deep Wood Drive in Deep Woods subdivision. Windows and doors appeared secure. Homeowner set off the alarm accidentally.
• Burglary Attempt – A residence on Shiloh Oak Drive in Shiloh Oak subdivision was burglarized. No forced entry was found. Possible juveniles in the area.
• Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check at Hwy 81 @ Forrest Falls Drive. Deputies checked for the appropriate driving criteria, driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Bullock Trail in Bullock Ridge Estates. Windows and doors appeared secure. An unconfined canine was inside the residence.
• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Buluu Creek Trail in Alcovy Bluffs Estates. Windows and doors appeared secure.

Zone 6

• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on White Oak Cove in The Oaks at Grandview subdivision. Windows and doors appeared secure.
• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Fieldwood Lane in Hidden Creek subdivision. Windows and doors appeared secure.

 Zone 7

• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on McKinsey Ridge in Forest Brooks subdivision. Windows and doors appeared secure.
• Animal Complaint – A white pit bull was seen roaming around the area of the Magnolia Springs subdivision.
