200-Unit Apartment Complex Approved In Cobb: Report

Board votes 5-0 to approve 200-unit apartment complex off Barrett Parkway.

NORTHEAST COBB, GA -- The Cobb County Board of Commissioners voted this week to approve a 200-unit apartment community, Patch has learned. The apartments will be on a 22-acre parcel bordered by the Barrett Parkway, Barrett Creek Boulevard and Barrett Creek Parkway, according to news reports.

Pollack Shores Real Estate Group, the developer, agreed to a request from Commissioner JoAnn Birrell to reduce the community by 19 units from four stories to three, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

The apartments leases will run from $1,300 per month to $2,800, the newspaper reports.
