A Dad Rants About Super Bowl Commercial
Moms Vent isn't just for moms. This week a local dad vents about a Super Bowl commercial. The Super Bowl is watched by families. Is this halftime commercial inappropriate?
I was watching the Super Bowl with my two sons, ages 8 and 11. Pepsi ran this commercial (see video) during halftime.
"I want to sleep with her, want to sleep with her, want to sleep with her, want to sleep with her, want to sleep with her," was repeated during the commercial. I was angry that I was put in a position where I had to deflect the obvious questions from my kids.
What were they thinking? Has our society become so permissive and promiscuous that it has become OK to air an ad like this on network television? It is time for those bozos in the marketing profession to adopt a code of ethics.
