The Cobb Arts Board and The Friends of the Arts, Inc. are accepting nominations for the 2011 Ovation Awards, an annual event to recognize individuals and organizations that make significant contributions to the arts in Cobb.
Northeast Cobb residents can get a nomination form at prca.cobbcountyga.gov/Arts-OvationAwards.htm. A form is required for each person who is nominated. Nominations are due to the Cobb Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs Office by Friday. Forms can be submitted by email to eweaver@cobbcounty.org.
The Ovation Awards will be presented Oct. 10, 7 p.m., at the Earl Smith Strand Theatre.
