Animal Control Postpones Ganues Hearing Second Time

Cindy Ganues, an animal care specialist with , is appealing a reported 40-hour suspension for removing euthanasia-bound cats from the county shelter during her days off.
Her appeal, scheduled to be heard by the Civil Service Board on Dec. 19, was postponed until Jan. 17.
Cobb County Animal Control has postponed the Jan. 17 hearing...no new date has been set.

The five-member Civil Service Board will hear Ganues’ case eventually at the at 100 Cherokee St. off Marietta Square.
