The Cobb County Police Department is looking for the man who drew out a handgun Wednesday night, then demanded cash from a female employee at the Piedmont Road CVS.
About 9:10 p.m. Wednesday, a man with aΒ black cloth or bandanna covering his face walked into the location at 1000 Piedmont Rd., said Sgt. Dana Pierce, spokesman for the police department.
"As he displayed a handgun, he began demanding that (the employee) put cash inside a nylon drawstring bag that he had just given her," Pierce said. "After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the offender fled from the area in what was described as a full size, possibly a newer model red pickup truck. Witnesses believe they saw it parked behind the business just prior to the crime."
