Arrests in Falcon Woods Subdivision Thefts

Falcon Woods residents suffered a string of car break-ins in late January. The thieves returned, and Cobb County Precinct 4 was waiting.

Tuesday, Feb. 16 Cobb County Precinct 4 Morning Watch Patrol officers saw two males walking through the Falcon Woods subdivision. It was 2:15 a.m.

"The officers thought it was unusual for people to be out walking at 2:15 a.m. on a weeknight. They stopped the two men. The men consented to a search. They had electronic items on their person which people don't typically carry in their pockets," Officer Joe Hernandez of Cobb County Precinct 4 told Northeast Cobb Patch. "An officer was able locate the owner of one electronic item. Both men were arrested."

Edward Andrew Reeves, 17, and Justin Graves, 19, were arrested on an Entering Auto charge, a felony, and other charges including possession of tools for crimes, loitering and prowling.

Precinct 4 detectives got a search warrant and found items linking one man to at least five confirmed cases.

"We believe that the evidence will link them to several more cases," said Hernandez.
