Bad Turn Leads to Drug Arrest

Northeast Cobb resident William Justin Bass, 25, of the 1500 block of Rex Drive was booked into the county jail late Wednesday after being pulled over for making an improper turn in Kennesaw, according to jail records.
A bad turn wouldn't normally land someone behind bars, but said Bass had some marijuana with him.

The misdemeanor charge of possession of less than an ounce of marijuana was enough to turn a traffic stop into a free ride to jail, where Bass remained early today.
He needs to post a cash bond of $800 to be released.
