Mrs. Terens and her husband live in Cobb County and have two children. She is a Florida State graduate and has worked for the District for 25 years. She has taught at McEachern, Kennesaw Mountain, and Allatoona, as well as several other schools around the District.
Special needs is a very wide spectrum that includes many different students and all ages. Mrs. Terens and her team develop and tailor programs for every student and every situation; it is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Understanding and respect are key to how they work with each student and their families to custom-build the best learning options for each one.
