Cobb Gardening Council Taking Shape

The council will get to work in September.

Officials withΒ the Cobb County Cooperative Extension Service and the Master Gardener Volunteers of Cobb County want to hear fromΒ community garden coordinators across the county.

That's because aΒ Cobb Community Garden Council is taking shape. The council will not get to work until September, but organizers are getting the word out now to gauge the level of interest in the group.

FromΒ Smith-Gilbert GardensΒ in Kennesaw toΒ CrossRoads Community Garden in East Cobb,Β the purpose of the council is to bring coordinators together to share ideas and information.
