Commissioners Scrap Marietta Recycling's Transfer Station
The board voted 4-0 against a special land-use permit for a scrap metal facility on Canton Road in Northeast Cobb.
The Cobb County Board of Commissioners voted 4-0 this morning against an application for a special land-use permit allowing Marietta Recycling to operate a metal scrap yard and transfer station on Canton Road next to the complex.
The commissioners followed the recommendation of the county Planning Commission, which against Marietta Recycling's proposal.
