Construction Begins On New Aviation Park In Kennesaw
Groundbreaking ceremony last week celebrating new aviation park across from McCollum-Cobb County International Airport in Kennesaw.
NORTHEAST, GA -- Cobb County residents will soon be able to enjoy a perfect spot to watch the planes take off and land. Cobb officials recently broke ground on a new aviation park at Town Center, the county said.
The park, located adjacent to McCollum-Cobb County International Airport in Kennesaw, will pay homage to the county's much-heralded history in aviation. The park will feature a greenspace area to watch the planes and an outdoor recreation area for visitors.
The development will also consist of an aviation-themed playground, restrooms with a mock air traffic control tower, among other things.
