Proverbs 17:2(Amp):
2 A wise servant shall have rule over a son who causes shame, and shall share in the inheritance among the brothers.
Verse 2 tells us that when a prodigal son does not care about his father's enterprises, and the father has an employee that is trustworthy and reliable; that father will entrust his business to the servant, instead of his own son.
Work hard, and be reliable and trustworthy to your employer. The benefits can be life changing.
