Expect Slow Going near Sprayberry

Paving today around the intersection of Sandy Plains and East Piedmont roads, outside Sprayberry, will cause lane closures from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., JoAnn Birrell of District 3 (Northeast Cobb) warned in email message Friday.

That road work means traffic delays all day long.

The good news is that the paving is part of the final phase of the .

Work the next week, Birrell said, will include wall construction in front of ; fine grading, cleanup and other completion tasks; and final signal and utility work.
