3. PARENT PALOOZA

Where/When: Cobb Galleria Centre, 2 Galleria Parkway. Saturday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Why Go: You are a parent who would like to information about products and services for parents and their children (infants through teens).  And you want to meet Patch! Meet with Patch Local Editors and sign up for prizes. Patch is at booth #425 next to the Radio Disney booth. Exhibiting companies will cover it all: education, health and beauty, home, travel, technology, etc.  Guidance, information, and resources will be available for everything from potty training to college applications.  It is a wealth of help for parents, surrounded by entertainment of all kinds: bounce houses, talent exhibitions, video game challenges, spa treatments, taste testing booths, and family competitions.  There are giveaways, coupons, samples, and chance to win great prizes. 

4. THE ATLANTA OPERA - PORGY AND BESS

Where/When: Cobb Energy Centre. 2800 Cobb Galleria Parkway. Saturday, 8 p.m.

5. SWEET AND SAVORY SATURDAY'S

Where/When: Kennesaw House, 1 Depot St., Suite 200, Kennesaw. Saturday, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Why Go: Who does not want to take the tasting challenge of Cornbread vs Biscuits? Mountain Biscuits is providing the biscuits and Henry's Louisiana Grill is providing the cornbread. In conjunction with the Y'all Come Eat! exhibit, there will be local chefs, restaurants and vendors to give visitors a taste of the wonderful food around the south.

Pricing: Admission is $5 Adults, $3 Seniors, and free for children under 6 and for museum members.
