Jorelys Rivera: What You Can Do Now
Vigils, memorials and funds are being set up for the slain girl.
The search for , the 7-year-old Canton girl who had not been seen since 5 p.m. Friday, ended Monday afternoon when authorities found her body in a Dumpster from her ο»ΏRiver Ridgeο»Ώ apartment complex. She'd been severely beaten, sexually assaulted and murdered, Georgia Bureau of Investigation director Vernon Keenan said. Authorities are now looking for her killer. Candlelight Vigils
A vigil is set for Wednesday at 6 p.m. at in Canton.

Another candlelight vigil is set for Friday at 6 p.m. in front of the apartments where Rivera was found. The Facebook event page asks that those who wish to attend go to the parking lot at 5:30 p.m.
Memorial Fund

Jorelys' mother's employer, Pilgrim's Pride Corporation, has created a memorial fund to help the family. "Those wishing to donate may do so by contacting in Canton or any other branch office in the area," Jason and Tina Ryan said on a Facebook page. "The Canton Branch is at 2215 Riverstone Boulevard. Please note that your donation is for the "Jorelys Rivera Memorial Fund."Β
