Lassiter, Kell, Sprayberry on 'Most Challenging' List
The Northeast Cobb high schools were cited for creating a high-achieving academic environment.

Lassiter, Kell and Sprayberry high schools are among 11Β Cobb County schools included inΒ The Washington Post's list ofΒ Americaβs Most Challenging High Schools.
Lassiter is listed at No. 20 in Georgia on the list, which surveyed around 1,900 high school nationwide. Sprayberry is No. 65, while Kell is listed at No. 71.Β
Walton High SchoolΒ had the highest ranking of any Cobb County school, coming in atΒ No. 3 on the state list and No.Β 163Β on the national list.

The Post's ranking system calculates the number of advanced placement, international baccalaureate and advanced international certificate of education tests given at a school each year, and divides it by the number of seniors who graduated that year. A ratio of 1.000 means the school had as many tests as graduates.
