Lassiter Alum Lands Reality Dance Show
Melanie Moore auditioned for 'So You Think You Can Dance' earlier this year, and was chosen.
2010 Lassiter High School graduate and Homecoming queen Melanie Moore will compete in the Top 20 for the title of America's Favorite Dancer on the hit television show 'So You Think You Can Dance.'
Moore is a member of the Rhythm Dance Center. She currently attends Fordham University as an art major.
The top 20 dancers will begin competing this week. The show airs on the FOX channel Wednesday at 8 p.m. Voting begins at the end of the show. Fans can vote by phone, text and even online. Each person can vote up to 50 times.
