Memorial Day 2017: What's Open And Closed In Cobb County

Here's a list of what's open and closed in Cobb County for Memorial Day.

COBB COUNTY, GA -- As is customary around this time, city and county municipal buildings and their operations close for the Memorial Day holiday. That means on Monday, May 29, all Cobb County government offices will be closed in observance of the holiday as well all its public libraries.

Big crowds are expected at several events around the county, including at the Memorial Day Ceremony at the Marietta National Cemetery. Hosted by the National Memorial Day Association of Georgia, this event held at the Marietta National Cemetery honors the service of veterans present and past. The free event begins at noon at the cemetary located at 500 Washington Avenue Northeast Marietta, GA 30060.

The Cobb School District will have a number of commencements over the Memorial Day weekend, including South and North Cobb high schools. Below see the remaining graduation schedule for Cobb.
