New K-9 for Cobb Sheriff's Office

The Cobb County Sheriff’s Office has a new K-9.

Cobb EMC assisted with the purchase of Tank, a 2½-year-old yellow labrador retriever trained in explosive odor detection, Cobb Sheriff Neil Warren said in a statement this week. 

"This partnership is a prime example of the business community and law enforcement working together," Warren said. "Cobb County is fortunate to have businesses that care about making our county a safer place to live and raise our families."

Among other tasks, Tank will help ensure that all Cobb County Sheriff’s Office facilities are safe and secure.
