Covering Northeast Cobb has been a great adventure.
As the Northeast Cobb Patch local editor, I've written about schools, the Canton Road revitalization, crime, politics, sports, traffic, neighborhoods, the weather, restaurants and interesting Northeast Cobb people. Now I'm moving on to new opportunities.
I launched Northeast Cobb Patch in November 2010, but it wasn't until December when I covered that my emotional ties to Northeast Cobb neighbors solidified. The death of Trooper LeCroy was a tragedy, and yet like most tragedies there was beauty and comfort in how the community came together to honor him.
