Governor's Office Recognizes Northeast Cobb Schools

Ten Northeast Cobb schools were recognized by the Governor's Office for improvements and achievement.

are being recognized under Georgia's Single Statewide Accountability System, developed by the Governor’s Office of Student Achievement, to award schools based on their performance on state curriculum exams and Adequate Yearly Progress status. Forty-one Cobb schools are being recognized for improvement and achievement during the 2010-2011 school year, according to Gov. Nathan Deal.

The Northeast Cobb schools that received awards are as follows:

Highest Performance Platinum awards: and high schools.

Highest Performing Gold awards: and Mountain View elementary schools, and .
