The Best in Spas

This week's Patch Picks features five spas in Northeast Cobb. We've listed their specialities and services, as well as location and hours of operation. The idea is for you and friends to enjoy a full day of pampering and fun.

1. Day Spa Nirvana  is our top pick because they have a coupon for you on Northeast Cobb Patch! How great is that? The coupon is maroon and yellow in color; you'll see it floating on our site. The spa is located in the Sandy Plains Centre shopping center, specializes in body and foot massages. Massage techniques featured include trigger point, Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone and Chinese. Day Spa Nirvana also offers a variety of facials and hair removal services (primarily waxing).

The spa also offers special discounts and services to its members. For $49 a month, members receive the first hour of any massage session for free as well as 10% off any Day Spa Nirvana service. Members are also eligible for on-call, in-house massages. Both walk-ins and appointments are accepted, although appointments are recommended. Call for pricing. 2.Divan Salon and Spa. Divan Salon is located just east of Trickum Road on Shallowford Road. Stop in for your hair care and stay for a massage. It offers Swedish and deep tissue massages as well as hair cuts and styling for men, women and children. 3. Three-13 Salon, Spa and Boutique is a hair salon that also offers spa services. You and a friend can enjoy a pedicure, hair service, massage - whatever you desire. It's your day! Customers can choose from a shampoo, scalp treatments, haircuts, blow dry service, paraffin hand treatments, manicures, pedicures, facials, eyebrow shaping and makeup application. Spa treatments are beneficial and luxurious, and they provide cozy robes & slippers for your comfort. Shop the boutique for hair care products, cosmetics and more. Full body massages start at $70.
