Pics & Video: More than 3,200 students graduated at Kennesaw State University commencement ceremonies this week.
KENNESAW, GA -- Kennesaw State University held commencement ceremonies this week as thousands of students donned cap and gowns. KSU President Samuel S. Olens presided over the graduation ceremonies -- five in all -- in the university's Convocation Center.
Among the speakers for the commencement ceremonies, which began Tuesday, were the first black female Air Force general, an internationally recognized entrepreneur, and a high school dropout who went on to become a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army.
The commencement ceremonies took place over a two-day period this week, Tuesday and Wednesday. As many as 3,200 people were expected to receive their degrees.

KSU offers more than 150 undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees to its more than 35,000 students at at its two metro Atlanta campuses. The university is part of the University System of Georgia and the third-largest university in the state.
