Printing Business Opens in Northeast Cobb

The Printheads, LLC has a ribbon-cutting ceremony for their new expanded offices in Northeast Cobb Thursday, co-hosted by the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce.

The Printheads, LLC marketing service headquarters has expanded their office to Northeast Cobb. The ribbon-cutting ceremony event is being held at their recently opened location at 2623 Sandy Plains Rd.,
Suite 103.

Since starting their business in 2009, The Printheads have shown remarkable growth. In a time when many businesses are struggling to stay afloat, The Printheads have found a winning mix of customer service, cost-cutting strategies, and a variety of marketing products that have enabled them to earn the trust of their growing customer base.

“We are very excited about having more room to grow, and about the expanded services we will now be able offer our clients. We invite everyone to join us in celebrating our official reopening. Since our success has always been dependent on our customer’s success, they share a great deal of the credit," said Lynn Miller, founder and president.

As a high school freshman, Miller didn’t know that the Graphics Arts course she signed up for would set the stage for her future professional life, but the stage was set nonetheless. By her sophomore year, Miller had already landed a job at a local printing company, putting some of what she’d learned to work while gaining even more knowledge of how the industry operated.

As Miller continued to study Graphic Arts in the ensuing years, she furthered her practical experience by retaining her job in the small print shop. Upon graduation, she was offered a more challenging position as a pre-press operator for a larger printing firm, and she took it.

From pre-press platemaking to search engine optimization to social media marketing, the nuts and bolts of every aspect of business communication were her constant companions. The next logical frontier was to strike out on her own, which she did when she founded The Printheads in 2009.
