Storm Knocks Out Power

Northeast Cobb was hammered with storms last night that left some residents powerless.

Northeast Cobb residents woke up this morning to downed tree limbs and mostly paper debris following last night's violent storms. We weathered the wind, lightning, heavy rain and hail well compared to other Georgia counties.

Marietta Power and Water reported 74 customers without power, including 30-something in North and East Cobb. Utility crews braved wind, hail and rain through out the night to restore power.
