Stuart Woods Featured Guest at Cobb Library Gala
Tickets are available for Thursday's dinner and auction at the Marietta Country Club.
Georgia-born mystery writer Stuart Woods will be honored as the Ney Literary Award Recipient at Thursday's 3rd annual Cobb Library Foundation gala.
Tickets are still available for the fundraising event, which begins at 6 p.m. at the Marietta Country Club, 1400 Marietta Country Club Drive, Kennesaw.
Tickets cost $150 each and proceeds benefit the Cobb County Public Library System. They can be purchased online.
The gala chairs are Cobb Commission Chairman Tim Lee and wife Annette Lee. Honorary chairmen is Attorney General Sam Olens and wife Lisa. Rob Garcia, COO, Bank of North Georgia will be emcee.
The Gala auction will feature a number of paintings by noted Atlanta artists who include Isabelle Lamar, Robert Miller, Marsha Savage, and Diane Isakson.
