Surveillance video caught the Ali brothers talking and parting ways at Columbia Mall the evening of Aug. 22, 2007, Columbia Patch said. The defense argued ; prosecutors said he drove around the mall, picked his brother up and drove him to his death.
Prosecutors said Wael Ali strangled his brother and dumped the body near a trail, where it was found five days later.

The motive, prosecutors said, was fratricidal anger.
The twins had been kicked out of the Army without making it past boot camp, then had been arrested in Arlington, VA, and charged with impersonating police officers, then had seen their home raided by a SWAT team the morning of what is believed to have been Wasel Aliβs final day.
βThe wrath of brothers is fierce and devilish,β said James Dietrich, the senior stateβs attorney, arguing that Wael Ali blamed his brother for getting him into trouble over and over and decided to make the trouble end through murder.
To emphasize the thought and determination required for the killing, the prosecution had the court go silent for 40 seconds, the time it would have taken Wasel Ali to lose consciousness.
Dietrich said it took three to 10 minutes more to kill the twin.
The defense countered that connecting Wael Ali to the murderβno DNA, no blood, no fingerprints, no witnesses to the moment Price died.
The jury will try again at 9 this morning. to sort out the arguments and what can be determined beyond a reasonable doubt. Columbia Patch is the place to read all about it if a verdict comes in.
