The light bulb industry is changing. Consumers are moving away from traditional light bulbs and using CFLs, halogens and LEDs which provide considerable savings on your electric bill.
LEDs are becoming the most popular choice. Consumers are able to buy a pack of LEDs at a cost of about $6 a bulb. The cost is well worth it as the LEDS will save you many times that in the electricity cost for years.
Next time you go light bulb shopping you may notice new labeling which can be confusing.The feds have decreed that instead of referring to watts, the packaging of bulbs will now talk about lumens.
