What Do You Think of the Proposed WellStar Building?

1. Have you heard about WellStar's Outpatient and Emergency Clinic proposed at the Providence Road-Roswell Road intersection? WellStar plans to build in residential zoning, and even though it isn't a hospital, the company doesn't have to go through the Zoning Board. How do you feel about the project? Do you think traffic will be congested? Are you concerned about property values?

On Wednesday at the East Cobb Government Services Center at 4400 Lower Roswell Road there will be a 90-minute public meeting to address the project. Are you going?

2. Cobb County's budget is $31 million in the hole. Yikes! Services will have to be cut. What are your priorities? What do you want cut? What services do you want cut or not cut?

4. The Simpson Middle School Environmental Committee will sponsor the fourth annual Electronics, Computers and Metals Recycling Day on Saturday, March 26. There is no fee to recycle items except for television and computer monitors, which have a $10 fee. The Simpson Environmental Committee also will accept donations. The event will be held from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. in the Simpson Middle School parking lot. Click here for more information.
