2. Sprayberry High School's mixed chorus, advanced womenβs chorus and beginning
womenβs chorus competed in the Georgia Music Educators Association Performance Festival recently. All received Superior ratings (score of 1 on 1-5 scale) in both performance and sight reading. Northeast Cobb Patch congratulates the chorus students and Mr. Autry for these superior ratings! Whoo!

4. Is your son involved in the Boy Scouts? The 27th Annual Peach of an Athlete Role Model Banquet sponsored by the Boys Scouts of America takes place tonight. Peach of an Athlete recognizes amateur and professional athletes who live their lives with the same values as Scouting. This awards dinner honors 12 collegiate athletes, a professional athlete, and a community leader. 7 p.m. $250/person. $2,000/table of 8. 5. It could be handy knowing this..... Transplant and reconstructive surgeons from Emory University Hospital announced Monday at a news conference that they have successfully performed a rare complete hand transplant on 21-year-old Linda Lu, a college student from Orlando, Fla. This is a first for Emory.
