What's Your Best Story?
We all have one: the biggest fish caught, meeting a celebrity, near-death experience, overcoming tremendous odds.

Here's my best story. I consider it the "best" story due to it being unusual.
I hope after reading my story that you'll share yours.
This is a true story - not "jazzed up" for entertainment purposes.

I was visiting a friend at Park Towers in Sandy Springs. Park Towers are two high-rise residential properties that have a big lawn and dog park. I was walking Shelby with my friend and her dog through the yard. It was winter. I had on jeans, a sweater and a big, black faux fur coat.
There are a line of trees dividing Route 285 from the property. Other than that, a couple of small, young trees planted on the property.

We met up with other dog walkers. We stood in a circle talking about our dogs. I felt a tug on the back of my coat. I turned around. No one was there.
When I turned back around to face the group, they were all wide-eyed. I asked what was wrong. A man said, "There is something on your back."
I turned around. A woman shrieked. Someone said it was a flying squirrel.
I don't really recall what happened next. Panic took over. I blacked out, my brain went on autopilot, or something. My friend said that I started doing a strange, gyrating and hopping dance. People backed away.
The dance worked. I felt the flying squirrel push off my upper back. Everyone said that it flew pretty high and landed in a tree near 285.
Who would ever think a flying squirrel would land on a person near 285?
