Woman Missing from Nursing Home

Northeast Cobb resident Annie L. Smith, 57, suffers from dementia and asthma.

Cobb County police are searching for a 57-year-old woman with dementia and asthma who is missing from the Ashley Manor Personal Care Home at 532 Dickson Rd. in Northeast Cobb.

The police Crime Against Persons Unit has asked the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to issue a Mattie's Call for Annie L. Smith, who is believed to have walked away from Ashley Manor this evening.

Smith did not have her medications when she left the nursing home, police said.

She is 5-foot-3 and 150 pounds with brown eyes and short, gray hair. She was wearing black pants, a royal-blue shirt and a black zip-up jacket with a hood when she was last seen at Ashley Manor, police said.
