1) Today will be mostly sunny with a high near 83. Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low around 63, according to the National Weather Service. Tuesday could bring back the clouds with a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.
2) The Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District (Metro Water District) is seeking interested residents from Cobb County to serve on the Chattahoochee and Etowah Basin advisory councils, two of six councils in the 15-county region that help review water resource plans. Individuals must live within the river basin of the council for which they apply. The deadline to apply is May 13.
3) The East Cobb Business Association is having its monthly after-hours event from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Red Sky Tapas Bar and Restaurant at 1255 Johnson Ferry Rd. in East Cobb.
