Calling All Mentors!

More mentors are needed to fill our requests!  As the Oconee Mentor Program expands, so do our needs.  Currently, there are 24 students waiting for a mentor.  Both men and women are needed, especially men who would serve as mentors and role models for our middle school and elementary male students. 

"It has been a great experience so far. It really couldn't be easier!" comments one of our new mentors. Eighteen new mentors have been trained and placed since August. Our 32 additional mentors are UGA law students, retirees, and other community members who are returning another year with their mentees. These 50 mentors are now supporting and motivating students at all grade levels in all Oconee schools.
