Franzluebbers Named a Finalist in the 2012 National Merit Scholarship Contest

, a senior at , was recently named a Finalist in the 2012 National Merit Scholarship Contest.

There are now 15,000 Finalists nationwide competing for the 8, 300 National Merit Scholarships to be offered this year. The advancement in this competition is based on Berta's 2010 PSAT score.

In March  through mid-June winners will be notified, the organization's website stated.

Berta is the daughter of Alan and Kathrin Franzluebbers of Watkinsville.
