Congratulations to Oconee County Coroner Ed Carson, who received a 2012 "Buckle Up America" award from The Georgia Governor’s Office of Highway Safety on May 30, 2012.
Carson won the award for his efforts and those of other local volunteers who have organized 20 Teen Pride driver safety course in Oconee County over the last three years, according to a news release.
He is also a Child Passenger Technician and regularly holds classes at the .
