Vivify President Selected to Serve as Creative Awards Judge

The International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA) has again selected Jonathan Jones to serve as a creative awards judge for competitions sanctioned by the IAVA, a prestigious honor.

The International Academy of Visual Arts is an invitation-based body consisting of top-tier professionals from a "Who's Who" of acclaimed media, interactive, advertising, and marketing firms. Membership to the IAVA is restricted to only qualified individuals who meet the following criteria: a nomination from a founding member and approval by the membership committee, nomination by another member and approval by the membership committee, nomination by the IAVA as a result of being part of a winning entry in an affiliated award or recognition program sanctioned by the IAVA, or providing credentials and industry-related experience for review and approval by the membership committee. IAVA members include executives from organizations such as AvatarLabs, Big Spaceship, Block Media, Conde Nast, Coach, Disney, The Ellen Degeneres Show, Estee Lauder, Fry Hammond Barr, Microsoft, MTV Networks, Polo Ralph Lauren, Sotheby's Institute of Art, Victoria's Secret, Wired, Yahoo! and many others.

Jonathan Jones, President of, has previously served with the IAVA and says he looks forward to another opportunity to help identify and reward excellence in the visual arts.

“I am excited and honored to participate as a creative awards judge again this year,” he said. "The organization and its recognition programs are a vital asset to the industry."

Jones will primarily judge entries for the W3 Awards. The W3 Awards honors superior creativity on the web and recognizes the individuals behind award winning web sites, web advertising and web video. The W3 is the first major web competition to be accessible to the biggest agencies, the smallest firms, and everyone in between.
