Deer Runs Into Path of Altima on Experiment Station Road
The following information was supplied by the Watkinsville, Ga. police department.

In his weekly news release, Watkinsville Police Chief Lee O'Dillon noted the following incidents:
- At 7:23 Thursday morning, Nov. 1, a large deer ran into the path of a westbound 2008 Nissan Altima on Experiment Station Road near VFW Drive. The 37 year old driver was not injured but the car suffered considerable damage. No other vehicles were involved.
- In other news, Friday, Nov. 2, at 2:58 p.m. a 2005 Toyota Prius was hit from behind by a 1990 Ford F-150 on Main Street at Third Street in downtown. A line of heavy traffic had stopped suddenly and the driver of the pick-up was distracted at the time. Neither driver was injured. A 56-year-old Watkinsville man was charged with following too closely.
Watkinsville police responded to a total of 27 calls within city limits between Oct. 29 - Nov. 4, 2012.
