The Oconee Veterans Memorial Foundation, Inc. will host a Memorial Day ceremony on May 28 at 10 a.m. at the
Oconee County Veterans Memorial located at Oconee Veterans Park.
The ceremony will incorporate “Calling the Role” for all Oconee County citizens that were killed in action from WWI to Operation Enduring Freedom, the presentation of the Memorial Wreath and concluding with Taps. Individuals and veterans groups are encouraged to present a memorial wreath during the event.
