The City of Watkinsville is giving away free tree whips this week in celebration of Georgia's Arbor Day, which is Feb. 17.
The following are available on a first-come, first served basis:
Stop by between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. You do not have to be a resident of the city in order to pick up a free tree whip.
