Gainesville Woman Arrested in Oconee Pleads Guilty in Federal Court to Meth Charge
Jennifer Lynn Meers was sentenced earlier this month, the Oconee County Sheriff's Office reports.

Nearly a year after her arrest in Oconee County on a methamphetamine-related charge, a 34-year-old Gainesville woman has entered a plea in federal court.
According to the Oconee County Sheriff's Office, Jennifer Lynn Meers pleaded guilty on Oct. 6, 2012 and has been sentenced to 10 years in federal custody.
Oconee deputies arrested Meers on Oct. 13, 2011 for attempting to sell a "large quantity" of methamphetamine, the Sheriff's Office reports, and the case was turned over to federal prosecutors.
