A Rotary Club meeting, free expo for seniors, and a swing dance night are a few of the things to know about in and around Oconee today.

Weather: The National Weather Service predicts a 30 percent chance of scattered thunderstorms and highs in the mid 80s.
Top things to know:
- Former member Kip Dominy is the guest speaker of today's meeting of the Oconee Rotary Club. He'll discuss a foundation that was set up in the name of his son who passed away as an infant. The meeting begins at 7 a.m. in the Watkinsville Community Center and includes a continental breakfast. Guests are welcome at $5 a person.
- The Athens Senior Resources Network presents a free Caregivers and Aging Resource Expo for Seniors from 3-7 p.m. at the Holiday on Broad Street in Athens, the Athens Banner-Herald reports.
- A high school softball game and volleyball matches are on scheduled for this afternoon. The OCHS and NOHS volleyball teams and the OCHS softball team .
- The UGA Swing Club hosts Swing Night at DanceFX on Milledge Avenue from 7:30 - 10 p.m. Cost to attend is $3 for students or $5 for non-students.
