Oconee Today -- Aug. 22

An art exhibit, circus and high school football scrimmage are a few of the things to know about in and around Oconee today.

Weather: Skies will be mostly sunny and highs will be in the mid 80s today.  The Weather Channel predicts a 20 percent chance of a stray afternoon thunderstorm.

Top things to know:

  • Come see the latest exhibit at featuring art, photos and tories by Chris Hubbard.  The exhibit is entitled "13 Years of Heaven and Hell" and it runs through Sept. 30.
  • PeachMac hosts the free workshop "Let's Talk iCloud" at 2 p.m.
  • OCHS and NOHS softball and volleyball teams are in action tonight. Check out their schedules on the school system's calendar.
  • The NOHS Titan football team heads to Clarke Central for a 7:30 p.m scrimmage game.
  • The whole family will enjoy at the Morton Theatre in Athens.  The curtain opens at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $15.
